Josh's parents, older sister and her husband and 4 children are flying in tomorrow to visit us for a week since Joshua and Abby have off all next week for Spring Break. We are all so excited about them coming! They get in late tomorrow night, so I keep telling the kids it will be after they are asleep, though they are so excited they may not fall asleep 'til long after they are here! Josh's spring break is this week, so unfortunately he will be busy with work and school while they are all here. We will have lots of fun visiting with everyone and the kids will have so much fun playing together.
Sarah and I went and toured Bud's Best Cookies with several other mom's and children from our Sunday School class. I guess it has become a yearly tradition of sorts. I am the one who heads it up and we have done it for 4 or 5 years. I guess it may be my last year to do it, since next year all 3 kids will be in school. I heard that the 2nd graders go there for a field trip, so maybe I can chaperone that one just to keep the tradition alive.

Joshua had his first soccer game last Saturday and they did a great job and had fun. It is fun to see him out there playing and enjoying himself. He is excited his cousin Nathan will be at his game on Saturday!

Sarah had her first game on Saturday also. They practice and then have a game right after practice which is nice. She is starting to warm up to it and seemed to enjoy it!

We took Sarah to one of the local allergy doctors and had her tested today. Thankfully, she didn't test postive to anything and the doctor thinks she will probably outgrow her asthma as her bronchials get larger. I am thanking God that she wasn't allergic to anything and we didn't have to do any major changes
Well, I am off to straighten the kitchen, vacuum the popcorn and pretzels off the floor, fold some clothes etc.... the joys of motherhood. Actually, as I look at that I know that some people say the joys of motherhood rather sarcastically, but I AM thankful to God for my family and that I have someone (lots of someones) to cook for, wash their clothes, vacuum up their messes. Thank you God for Josh, Joshua, Abby and Sarah!
