We had a great week at VBS and really enjoyed it! I really enjoyed helping out- I was the superintendent of the 16 2nd grade teachers and REALLY enjoyed it. I have taught the last 5 years and think I will stick with being a superintendent again next year. I missed (a little bit
) teaching the kids but really enjoyed helping out the teachers, getting their things together for them etc.... The only hard part (and it really wasn't too bad) is finding the teachers earlier in the year. Thankfully God always provides the teachers we need!
Today Joshua went to super summer at our church. They went to the zoo and he seemed to really enjoy it. Abby went on Monday. I take them around 9:15 and pick them back up around 2:15, so it is a long day for them. Sarah doesn't want to go- she says she will stay with me- which I don't mind. While Joshua was there, the girls had a tea party on the porch for lunch. They had a great time!

As you can see- Abby is missing A LOT of teeth. She lost another one yesterday while she was with Mom at a park. Mom takes the kids once a week for Lazy Day's with Granmama and the kids LOVE it and really look forward to it. As do I.

Sarah is taking swim lessons this week- or is supposed to be. The last two days have been rained (or thundered) out. Yesterday they watched a safety video but tonights was been moved to Friday. I think we are supposed to have thunderstorms the next several nights, so we will see what happens. Thankfully Sarah really enjoys them though and is looking foward to the others this week and next week.
Here are are some pics of Starwish. She has taken to "sitting" on the sofa when we are on it. She backs up and plops down with her front legs on the ground. Makes me laugh. She is really not supposed to be on the sofa and has done really good about it but last week at VBS we were gone SO much that she was starting to chew on things just wanting attention, so I let her lay by me on the couch a couple times- I think I now need to retrain her.

Well, I need to go fold some clothes and vacuum. Josh has clinical tonight, so he won't be home until tomorrow morning sometime. I know he will be ready for bed. He works hard for us and I am thankful for him! Only 184 more days until he graduates!!
