On July 3rd, we went to I love America Day at the park near our house. We walked down there after supper and the kids had fun getting lots of free stuff, including ice cream from Brusters, at the boothes that some local businesses had set up.

We then went to the baseball field and sat in the grass and listened to "Pops in the Park." A local church has an orchestra that plays them every year for this. It was GREAT. The kids had fun dancing around, playing with the little airplanes that they got from the boothes etc... It was a really fun time.

After they finished a local magician spent about 30 minutes doing magic shows for the kids. Joshua and Abby saw several friends from school and had fun being with them again.

Then the Laser show started about 9:15. It was really cool!

Afterwards, they showed a movie on the screen for all the kids. One of the local churches had popcorn and water for whoever wanted it, so we stayed out late and watched the movie and ate popcorn. We then walked home and didn't walk in the door until almost 11:30. We had a really fun time being together that night!
