Trip to Virginia!
We left around 3:30 in the morning on Friday March 14th and drove to Lake Anna, VA to meet Josh's family. We all got together (pretty much halfway for everyone) to celebrate Josh's parent's 60th birthdays. It was a FUN time and we all had a great time being together- even though I think almost everyone was sick with a cold or something. It was a fast trip- we got there Friday afternoon around 4:15 and left Sunday afternoon around 2:30 but we packed a lot of fun into that time. It was also beautiful!

We went to Lake Anna State Park and had a picnic and then went hiking.

When we got back, Josh took the kids fishing off the dock at the house where we were staying. The kids caught a bunch of fish and were SO excited! I think by the time everyone left, Johanna had caught 16 fish and most of the other grandkids who fished had caught at least one, if not several more. The kid LOVED it!!

The house had huge basement area with a video game, airplane thing the kids could play in, pool table etc...The kid LOVED it all and just being together!

The kids also decorated Easter eggs and the next morning had an egg hunt.

Sunday before we left, we celebrated a Seder dinner. It was interesting, as I had never seen (or heard of it for that matter) it done.

Kristen made a cake and it served as a birthday cake for Dad and Mom Mather and also for all the March birthday's! Happy Birthday to Dad, Ben, Lisa and Abby!!
