Today Joshua and Abby had their summer piano recital. It was a "fun" recital held at a local retirement home for the residents there and had a patriotic theme. Joshua played Yankee Doodle and Over There. Abby played Let's Boogie and When Johnny Comes Marching Home. We marched around waving flags, sang, some of the students did ballet during a couple of the songs and Abby did little dance with several others during a couple of the songs. It was a lot of fun and I was proud of the kids!
