Abby's class went on a field trip to the American Village. I was able to ride the bus with them and really enjoyed being with Abby on the field trip.

Abby and her friends were guarding Lexington and were trying to keep the "red coats" from getting through them to invade Concord. ( I think I have my facts right.)
I went with Joshua last year and was really looking forward to it this year. It is a very hands on field trip and I think the kids will remember it longer because they enacted most of the history they learned instead of it being read to them etc... Very neat!
