Well, Josh's family got stuck in all the ice and cold weather in Pennsylvania, so they weren't able to come in Friday night as planned. They are now planning on arriving Monday morning around 10. Hopefully their plane will be able to get out. They will stay until Saturday morning. The kids were so sad when we told them that their cousin's wouldn't be here until Monday morning.
Joshua had a great soccer game around noon and we all enjoyed watching it. He said they won 3 to 0. The parents don't really keep score or I think we aren't really supposed to keep score, but the kids sure know what it is!
He has been wanting to make some money so I told him he could vacuum out the van. I was impressed with his hard and steady work and he was excited to make some money! I can't believe how big my kids are getting, and so fast. They are a lot of fun!
We took the kids to see the movie Charlotte's Web for their Friday surprise. It was at the dollar theatre and we all thought it was very cute. Except for Joshua, who just cried and cried when Charlotte the spider died. Tonight at supper Sarah mentioned something about Charlotte and her babies and Joshua immediately said, "don't talk about it, it's too sad." Josh and I thought the movie was very cute, though I did feel bad Joshua was so sad about it.
I have been cooking some today - made some pepperoni bread, banana bread, chocolate chip blondies and some pizza for supper. Hopefully tomorrow I can make a couple casseroles for when Josh's family gets here. We are looking forward to them coming!
