Joshua and Nathan were inseperable and Abby and Johanna seemed to always be together also. Sarah, Faith and Caleb all played in different pairs with everyone.
On Tuesday we all went to the zoo. Josh met us there after school and we had a fun time. It was a beautiful day! On Wednesday, we went and toured Bluebell Creamery and got a free bowl of ice cream afterwards. It was delicious! We then went to my parents house and the kids had great time playing outside in their yard. Mom went all out and made a delicious Mexican meal for us. Bryan and Angie also came and we had a great time visiting.
On Thursday, we went to Moss Rock Preserve. The kids had fun hiking, climbing rocks and playing in the water!
Friday, we went to the McWane Center and then ate lunch at a local Chinese Buffet that Abby picked out to celebrate her birthday. She loves the food and really enjoys picking out what she wants to eat out of all the many choices they have on their buffet! When we got home, we celebrated with an ice cream cake and she opened her gifts from Josh's family. She got lots of clothes and I think she is one of the only children I know who gets excited over receiving them for a gift. She was holding them up, exclaiming over them and loved trying them on. When I was little, I remember my sense of dismay at receiving clothes for my birthday or for Christmas, so I don't think I can relate -though now I think it is great!
Well, I have been trying to get a few pictures to download, but it won't seem to work and I need to head to bed, so I will have to try again tomorrow. Hopefully they will work then. Ahh, finally got them to work!
