Josh and I had a wonderful time in Colorado. It was GREAT to see Kris and Bec!

We drove to Nashville after Josh's class finished and just made it on our plane. We landed in Denver and Bec and Kris picked us up. On Friday, Josh slept most of the day, since he had been up for 30 some odd hours by the time we got to the ranch. Bec and Kris worked, so I slept in some, took a walk etc... The high that day and Saturday was in the 20's, so it was rather chilly. We got settled into our cabin Friday afternoon and enjoyed Kris's cooking that night. He is the head chef out there and the food is wonderful! On Saturday morning, Kris took us on a trail ride. I loved riding and it was just BEAUTIFUL out there.

After the trail ride, we ate lunch and then visited with Bec and Kris and played games. It was so much fun being with them. After dinner, we went to the Square Dance and I loved it! Josh wasn't too fond of it but he did humor me and dance some! Thank you Josh!

Sunday we went on another trail ride and then met together for an Easter service. It was a special time of singing and then one of the men gave a message. The weather was amazing. On Sunday morning, we woke up and it was a beautiful, clear sunny morning. We could see the tall mountain that had been hidden the whole time we were there. When we came out from breakfast and headed out for another trail ride, it was snowing and and the mountain was again hidden. It started snowing pretty hard on the way back down the mountain. Later on, Josh and I went on a walk to see the baby horses and it started sleeting and was coming down pretty hard. It was amazing all the different types of weather we had in one day! We also enjoyed Bec and Kris's dogs, Moby and Ellie. Here is Ellie, she is so much fun!
