Well, its been a little while since I posted. I was looking back over my last post and it seems like right after I posted that last one, God wanted to give me some chances to "practice what I preach." Funny how it seems to work out that way. 
We are doing good. The kids are all well for the most part and Joshua and Abby are enjoying school. Abby's reading is coming along well. I am so pleased and thankful for all she is learning. Joshua's class is working on addition facts and they have to answer 50 problems in under 3 minutes to move on to the next set. Like the first time, he had to answer 50 problems from the 0 family (0 + 3, 0 + 8etc...) in the time given to move on to the ones. He is now working on the 3's. He said he almost had them in 3 minutes but not quite. We work on them every night and he is doing very well with them. It is hard to believe that I have children working on these types of things in school! This morning, Sarah and I went to our church for a bible study on Proverbs. I am hoping to get started back in one. Last fall, I didn't really go much because Sarah was sick too often or would get sick after being in the nursery, but this time I let her sit in with me. She did really well. Hopefully this way it will work out for me to go to the studies regularly and maybe she will even pick up some things along the way too. Josh and I are both taking guitar from my cousin now and it is fun having someone to practice with at home! Last night my Dad, brother, David (cousin's son), Josh and I all took from Carol. The lessons are growing! Now that Josh and I are both taking, it makes our nights go by fast. By the time we get done putting the kids in bed, it is 8:00. We practice the guitar, I walk a dog for an elderly neighbor most every night and end up visiting for 20 - 30 minutes and Josh and I are trying to read through the Bible this year, so we read several chapters in the Bible, go over the papers the kids brought home from school etc... all before he has to get ready so he can leave by 9:45 for work. It has been really good though, spending that time reading the Bible together. We have been reading in Job and I have really loved it.
Well, I just tried to read back over what I wrote and it may be a lot of ramblings but anyway.... that's part of what's been happening in the Mather household lately!
