Back to School
It is hard to believe that it is time, but the kids have started back to school. In some ways, it seems like just yesterday they were getting out for the summer!Joshua and Abby started Monday and they seemed to really enjoy it! Here they are on their first day of school

Sarah and I went Monday morning and met her teacher. She has the same kindergarten teacher that Joshua did and we are excited for that. Mrs. Griffin is SO sweet! Today was Sarah's first day. I took all the kids in and helped the girls find their classrooms. They were excited but I think a little nervous too. Here is the picture from today, with all three of them on Sarah's first day of school.

When I walked by Joshua's old classroom, I saw this up on the bulletin board. He wrote it last year for the new first graders that would be coming in this year.

Tonight Josh asked me what I had done today that I normally wouldn't have gotten done with the kids. I told him, I would have done the same things, just with them. I will admit it was nice to get things done without interruption and not have to get little ones in and out of the car in 104 degree weather, have a little alone time etc... but I will also admit, I did miss having them around too. It was very quiet and I was thrilled when it was time to pick them up from school. They seemed to have a good day and it will be fun to see how this year goes for them!
Hey Elizabeth. Can't believe all three of yours are in school now! They grow so fast! Matthew will be starting school on Monday. He will be going to the little village school. Was it hard for you when your oldest started school for the first time? I'm afraid I'm going to cry when I take him....
