Abby Ruth

Today we had our parent/teacher conference with Abby's teacher, Mrs. Pharo, and it went really well. She said Abby's fine motor skills have really improved and she is doing great in school! Praise the Lord! We are SO thankful for His helping Abby and for Mrs. Pharo being such a WONDERFUL teacher to her! Abby is loving it and has learned SO much in just the 10 weeks she has been going.
Abby also got her new glasses today! She is thrilled and says she can see better when reading. She is still getting used to them and it is funny to watch her. Earlier, she was running and jumping as she said, I see hills and mountains. I am running and jumping down the mountains!" She is to only wear them when she is writing, reading etc... so hopefully she won't see too many hills and mountains! We are thankful for Mrs. Pharo picking up on her squinting when she was writing. Here is the picture of her with the new glasses on. It came out rather blurry, but hopefully we will take another one soon and I can add it.

luvthekeysHey Elizabeth:)

So fun getting updates about y'all. We miss you all. Beth Poole visited my church this morning. I go to the church that Kara Jackson's dad pastors. It feels like old times at the Bible study.. :) Speaking of that.. I need to send you a message about something ...
It is great that y'all were able to find out about Abby soon. I needed glasses in second grade and didn't get them until I was eleven.... or so... actually I think I was even older...

I just sent you a message through xanga's "message me"
The Jackson's church is McCalla Bible. I love it a lot. Beth Poole is the receptionist at Driversway by Golden Corale. She doesn't look any different from when she was at Robert's Bible study. HA!

What a cute snaggletooth! She looks precious in her glasses and her glasses case is even cuter! They have come a long way since I got glasses! She is learning and is so delightful. Her entusiasm about life is a blessing to us all.
