Last night, I left Joshua and Sarah at home with Josh while I went to pick Abby up from her swimming lesson. I told them to get ready for bed while I was gone and when I returned they had gotten ready for bed plus Sarah had set up a tea party for us. I hated to tell her it was actually bed time and she needed to head to bed without enjoying the party, so we all sat down and had fun with Sarah for a few minutes. She even knew the right kind of food to give me- at my place she had chocolate!! 
Joshua had fever and he still even attempted to enjoy the party with us.
Today I was planning on spending the day here at home but Josh needed me to take something to him while he was at school, so we got out. It turned out to be most of the day, but that's ok, we had fun! On the way home from UAB, we went by the Homewood Library. They had a guy come and he showed the kids how a cow was milked and at the end they got to have some ice cream! We were telling Josh about it later and I asked the kids what it was called where he got the milk from. Abby said, "the gutter" and Joshua said, "No, it's the gut!"
I needed to go to Walmart but the kids got SO sticky and messy from the ice cream, that we went home so they could change clothes and wash up before we went. While they were changing, Josh called and said he had a break before his next class, so we went back to UAB and ate lunch at McDonalds with him. We had a fun time getting to be with him for lunch. Sarah also enjoyed feeding the pigeons, or as she called them, the pigets. She is always saying something or doing something that keeps us laughing- we try to keep the laugh to ourselves but we don't always succeed!

how sweet! I like your story book form here of your days with times with you kiddos -- great pics, I like the close-ups especailly~ isn't it fun to have that one who is always keeping you laughing? ;)
