Well, it has again been a while since I last updated. It seems like I have been so busy since the kids have been back in school. I thought I would have time to sit and get some reading and other "quiet" things done, but it seems like I have hardly been able to even sit down before it is time to go pick them up in the afternoon. I am a room mom for Joshua and Sarah's class and help organize the mystery readers each Friday for Abby's class. I have been very busy with all the different meetings etc... but hopefully some of that will slow down now. I am going to be working in the lunchroom as a "lunchroom monitor" on Wednesday's from 10-1:00. I am basically going to be helping the kids open things, get things for them, make sure they stay relatively quiet- which is not all that quiet
.... basically watch them and help them, so that their teachers can have a "break" and eat their lunch without having to do all those things. I am looking forward to it and the kids are too. There are several other things that I will be doing up at the school, so it seems like I am up there all the time, but that is how I want it. I LOVE being up there because that is where my kids are and I LOVE being with my kids and knowing what they are up to!
One thing I have really enjoyed being able to do is walk every morning after I drop the kids off at school. I have always wanted to, but it just never worked out with the kids, so I am loving walking my two miles every morning. I am thankful that I have this opportunity. Today, I was thanking God for such a great place to walk, I saw two bluebirds, heard and saw a couple woodpeckers, and a local church right by our apartments plays bells and songs on the hour. It is so pretty to hear the hymns being played around 8:05 as I walk around the track. A week ago, Thursday, I picked the kids up from school and we headed down to visit my parents in their new house. They have it looking SO nice! The kids and I played that afternoon and then Josh met us down there for supper. The kids enjoyed playing Chinese Checkers with Grandmama!

Joshua has started soccer and has his first game tomorrow. His first practice was last week and we all went since it is an hour and a half long. We took the girls to the playground at the church and they had fun on the swings, bars etc...

Sarah could just flip right up and hang upside down but Abby had the hardest time getting it. She worked and worked though and FINALLY got it! She was SO excited!

On Labor Day, we enjoyed just being home together and not having school for the kids or for Josh. We took the kids to the pool and had fun swimming.

Sarah being silly with the buckets and Abby being "all girl". She has decided it is fun to "lay out" though it doesn't last all that long- she might last a couple minutes. The funny thing is, I don't know where she picked that up- maybe she has seen some of the ladies at the pool because I sure don't lay out.

When we got back from the pool- Josh cooked out some DELICIOUS hamburgers and hotdogs.

Today, Josh was the mystery reader for Abby's class at school. He took Sugar, his mouse puppet and the kids loved it! We had fun with her class and she was excited to have us there!
