This morning, I went up to the school to help take a picture of Abby's class for a project that they will be doing. Someone else ended up taking the official one, so I stood off to the side and snapped a few while they were having it taken. They are a fun class! Tomorrow I am supposed to help out with Joshua's class picture, so maybe I will add one of his class soon.
Josh and I went together to pick the kids up from school and we went to Toys R Us so Joshua could spend his birthday money that he has received. We were there maybe 40 minutes but he ended up choosing a spy kit and two matchbox cars. He is very thrilled!! When we left, we went to Walmart and then on the way home stopped at our local libraries "spooky trail." It really isn't all that spooky but the kids enjoyed making it seem so.
The kids have been wanting to go on it for quite a while and it ends Wednesday. It was fun seeing their faces and watching them enjoy it. Josh enjoyed trying out our new camera!
Before Josh went to work tonight, he and I decorated Joshua's room so when he wakes up tomorrow on his birthday, it will be all festive. One of the things we try to do the night before the kids' birthday is to decorate the birthday child's room with balloons and streamers. Joshua made sure to remind us, so I am thinking it is now a "tradition" and we don't dare forget it or we will have some disappointed children.
what a great birthday idea! We've got some b-day's comin up around here. Robert will be the big 4-0 on Sat. and Christian will be 6 next Fri ~ I think it would be funny if Robert woke up to a birthday room... hum. might be an idea.... just not sure how I'd pull it off! :)
