Indians and Thanksgiving
Today Sarah and I went to the school and watched Abby's Pow wow. It was great and the kids were so cute! Each kindergarten class had made an Indian shirt and sat around a "campfire" and sang a song.

When Sarah and I were leaving the classroom, all the kids had just received Indian headresses and were LOVING wearing them. I think they must have worn them most all day because they were wearing them when they got done today and came out for us to pick them up! Mrs. Pharo gave Sarah an Indian headband also and she was thrilled, to say the least!

This afternoon, I was going to pick up Josh and as I was leaving the apartments, a little boy about 5 was riding his bike in the middle of the road so I stopped until he went by me. He started talking to me, so I rolled down the window and asked him what he had said. He said, "Are you a stranger?" I had NO idea where he was going with that question and how I should answer it, because I AM a stranger to him but not to the apartments, so I finally just said, "no, why"? and then he said, "Oh, GOOD! Would you give me a ride to the office then? I really need to ask them something." I started laughing after I finished talking with him and had left, because it was such a bizarre conversation and rather funny, but it really left me rather worried for him. Josh said he knows the little boy from around here and he will have to tell his parents because he doesn't seem to quite get it about strangers.

I took Abby to ballet this evening and Josh stayed home with Joshua and Sarah. I think they played games the whole time! We were going to eat at Dad and Mom's house because my grandmother, MaMa, is there visiting from GA. When Joshua got home from school he had pink eye and so we didn't go over because we didn't want to give it to anyone there at my parents house. So Abby and I went over after her ballet and said hey to MaMa and then took our supper home. Thanks so much Mom for sharing supper with us!
We are leaving tomorrow night for our trip to New York for Thanksgiving. It will be a whole lot of fun to see Josh's family and the kids can't wait to see all their cousins! (There are 11 and one on the way under age 9). We will drive straight thru hopefully, it all depends on how the kids do sleeping while we drive. It is about 18 hours so hopefully they will sleep some of it! We are also going to be prepared with lots of DVD's!

I hope everyone has a BLESSED Thanksgiving! I have SO much to be thankful for - God and his love and forgiveness to me, a most WONDERFUL husband, three sweet children, my parents, my siblings and my wonderful brother in law and sister in law that God has brought into their lives, Bryan and Angie's BABY on the way!!, my friends, our church, the teachers that God let Joshua and Abby have in school, Josh's job, our neighbor Mrs. Churchill, great in-laws, my cats
