Joshua's Birthday
Today is Joshua's 7th birthday! It is so hard to believe that he can already be 7 years old!
Here are 7 (just 7 of the MANY) things that I appreciate and love about him!
1)He loves the Lord and wants to please him
2)He loves to learn
3)He is always willing to help me out when I ask him to - loves to serve other people
4)He is very tender hearted
5)He loves his sisters and is so sweet to them (MOST of the time)
6)He is very obedient
7)He loves to have fun and joke around
Today, we let him open one gift before he went to school. It was a book his grandparents gave him about the body and he has been telling me different things he has read in it. At lunch, I surprised him and showed up to eat with him. He was SO excited and surprised! It is so much fun being with him there and seeing him interact with his friends. I think they were almost as excited as he was to have somebody new at the table to talk to! They were constantly talking with me and I so enjoy getting to know them.
When he got home we let him open a couple more gifts then for supper we had his birthday celebration with some of our family. It was a whole lot of fun. Joshua asked for Sloppy Joes and a Chocolate Cake with a snake on it.
We had fun visiting with Grandaddy, Grandmama, Uncle Stephen, Uncle Bryan and Aunt Angie and it was fun talking with Grandma and Grandpa on the phone! Dad had to take Stephen to his soccer practice but when he got back, he and Joshua put together the car model that they had given Joshua.

What a great birthday boy! We had fun at the party and are so proud of Joshua. He is a fine boy and encourages us all with his sweet hugs and kisses. Love to you all.
