We all are doing good. We went to PA to see Josh's family for a week and had a great time with them. They had their cousins camp with all 14 cousins ages 12 to 4 months. All the kids get along SO well and there is rarely a fight. It is so fun to see them all together. We enjoyed visiting with all of them!

The kids had lots of fun swimming, playing in the creek, listening to missionary stories, singing songs, bonfires and smores, cutting down trees, playing with Starwish, going to a 4th of July parade, watching fireworks- just to name a FEW of the things that went on. You can go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/themathers/sets/72157621113039856/ to see the TONS of other pictures we took from the week.
We ended up getting the stomach bug while we were there and the girls were sick all the way home. We had planned to go see Niagara Falls on the way home so we went ahead and made a very quick stop. We had a picnic lunch (those of us who could eat did) on a bench and then went to look at the Falls. The temperature was in the 70's while there and the kids were freezing since they weren't feeling well and to be honest, we are from AL,so the 70's was feeling rather chilly for July. The falls are SO pretty and we are looking forward to going again when we are all feeling LOTS better and can stay longer.

We had a good, though LONG trip back home. The girls were still sick Thursday evening so I made an appointment for them to go to the Dr. Of course, they were feeling great Friday morning when I took them and he said that they were fine as long as they had no more symptoms, (which they didn't) and we have been feeling great since. We are so thankful to be well!! The kids have loved being able to be with their friends again and go swimming. We had a nice, relaxing weekend and are now gearing up for a busy, normal week again!!
On another note-
I have been reading blogs about couponing/ free samples etc... for quite a while now and when I have the time to go through the ads and get the coupons to go with the sales I love to go to the store and see my savings are more than I spent. Today we all went to Publix after church and I spent $15.41 and saved $51.33!! I was VERY excited.

Well.... it has been a very long time since I last posted. My xanga account ran out and I haven't been able to put pictures up, as my storage limit has been reached. I just got lazy and didn't post since I couldn't put pictures up. Josh figured out a way to put pictures on. Thank you Josh!! It is a little bit complicated, so we will see how this goes.
We have had nice summer. We haven't scheduled anything but piano lessons and a week of VBS, so it has been nice and relaxing. The kids have been having fun doing Lazy Days with Grandmama one day a week. They look forward to it! Today, the kids and I went to see my mom and Stephen. Stephen has been gone for a couple weeks and is leaving Sunday to visit Bec and the Kris for another week, so we were looking forward to seeing him again! We had a lot of fun visiting with them. The kids think Uncle Stephen is SO much fun!!
Abby let Joshua pick out her clothes today and he chose all blue. I thought it was cute and got a picture of them together. Abby has started wearing necklaces, bracelets and hair "things" a whole lot more lately. She is growing up!
Just a funny from Sarah- We have been going swimming at the pool almost every day this summer and one of her bathing suits is a two piece that someone gave her. I am not sure of the whole context of the conversation she and Abby were having, as I only overheard part of it, but she was calling it her zucchini instead of her bikini. She is always coming up with funny things to say. There are several more she has said lately that I will have to post if I can remember them. I don't remember Joshua and Abby even coming up with half of the mixups in coversation that she does. She is always keeping us smiling about something.

We woke up this morning to snow and by the time we got home from church we had about 4 inches. Joshua played in the snow a little before church and we had a lot of fun playing in the snow when we got home. When we were visiting Josh's parents in PA at Thanksgiving, we bought a sled and brought it back with us "just in case." We were excited the kids actually got to use it!! They also had fun with a skateboard without wheels that someone had left in the grass. Here are a few pictures from today.

Starwish also loved the snow. She was not happy when I finally took her back inside. She sat at the door or window and whined. Josh made her snowballs and she would carry them around until she ate them. She brought the last one in with her and enjoyed it.

Yesterday, we drove over to GA and visited with my Grandmother who lives in a retirement home over there. It was so good to see her again. She is amazing- she gets around so well and we all loved visiting with her!

We have some friends who gave us some tickets to the zoo, so on Dec. 30th, I took the kids. It was a beautiful day- in the upper 60's and sunny. A lot of the animals were out and about- they must have been enjoying the weather also. We always love going to the zoo, so we had a great time!

I had a wonderful birthday on Dec. 27th. Josh watched the kids and let me spend the day with my mom and sister. They took me to lunch- we ate at the California Pizza Kitchen and it was great! We then went shopping some and then my mom and I went to the hospital to visit with my Uncle who was there. It was just a very fun special time with them. I sure wish Bec was closer so that we could get together more often. We were saying we sure missed having Angie with us while we were out. I can't wait until we can all get together again! Josh also cooked a WONDERFUL meal for me. He grilled out some vegi's and potatoes and made a homemade chocolate cake. It was very good! Thank y'all so much for a wonderful birthday!

We met Dad, Mom and Stephen down in Clanton for their annual Christmas parade. It has become a very fun Christmas tradition for us.

We went down to Dad and Mom's after our church's Christmas Eve service for our traditional spaghetti dinner and time of carols and memories. Fun, special time.

We went back down to Dad and Mom's and had a great afternoon being together. We sure missed being with Bryan, Angie, Charlie and Samuel though. We got a video chat set up and we were able to talk with them and see them. Charlie was so cute and was showing us his gifts. We saw baby Samuel, it was very neat. I am so thankful for technology!

Bec made us girls some REALLY cute aprons!
Dad got a picture of his dad, Noah, on a tractor and held Noah and said "here are the two Noah's and their tractors".
