October 31

Wednesday morning I worked in the lunchroom at the school and Abby's teacher said I could come to their Halloween party at their class if I wanted to. I went by and they had some yummy donuts. Then they made a little finger puppet. There were only three of us adults and it took a little doing helping 17 children make the finger puppets. It was a lot of fun being in the class with them! Here the kids are holding up the finished finger puppets after hearing Miss Oliver read them a book.

That night, the kids went trick or treating. They had a lot of fun and were excited about our overabundance of candy. Here they are with our neighbor. Joshua was Joshua from the Bible, (he was thrilled to be able to carry his new lantern flashlight around that he got from his birthday.) Abby was a cat and Sarah was a ballerina. At one of the doors we knocked on, a guy came out and tried to guess what the kids were. He thought Joshua was a monk.
