Her birthday is the end of June and Josh and I have been trying to think of what she would enjoy most for her birthday. We have plenty of toys and she doesn't even play with them a whole lot. The only thing we can think of is something like a swing set, because she loves to play outside or a dog. Since we are in an apartment, we don't have a yard to put the swing in and if we did put it somewhere outside, all the other kids would have it torn up in no time or she wouldn't get to play on it because it would always be in use. And the dog, we just do not need another animal and I am sure people would think we had totally lost our minds to add another one, but those are the only things we can think of that she would really enjoy, that would even be a halfway reasonable idea. It will be interesting to see what we end up getting her. 
Angie e-mailed me today (thanks Angie!!) and let me know that Ben and Jerry's was giving away a free scoop of ice cream this afternoon. I actually forgot about it after I got the kids from school but as the kids were eating their snack, Joshua reminded me. It turns out his teachers (he has two now, that come at different times of the day, since his original teacher had a baby a couple weeks ago) had told the class about it and even told them where the Ben and Jerry's location's were in town. And he remembered
They all wanted to go, so we loaded up and went for another snack before Joshua's soccer practice. There were lots of people there but the wait wasn't too bad. We even saw another child from Joshua's class. I guess she remembered also. As you can see, the kids loved it!
