Happy New Year!

Wow, it has been almost a month since I last updated. Time goes by fast! We have had a great Christmas and New Year. Bec and Kris were here from CO and it was WONDERFUL to see them again! They had exciting news for us- they are expecting a baby, they think in August! Bryan and Angie also had great news for us- it will be Charlie that we get to meet in May!! We are so thrilled and thankful for all the great news!!
We have all been doing well though it seems like we have all still been battling colds etc... but we enjoyed the holidays! I have LOVED having the kids home from school. They seem to have enjoyed being home and will be going back to school on Thursday. Though it will be sad to have the kids back in school, I am really looking forward to just getting back to our normal routine. Here are a few of the many pictures we have recently taken.

Benny Parks is teaching our Sunday School this quarter and on Sunday he said this quote that has been coming back to my mind a whole lot since then. I am not sure where he got it from so I don't know who the true source is.
"Whatever is esteemed or loved, feared or served, delighted in or depended upon more than God, that in effect we have made a God of. "
I have been "mulling" it over off and on since then. It is so easy for me to lose my focus and I guess make other things/people my "god" without even realizing it. Anyway, it was rather convicting to me and I guess one thing I really want to focus on this year is making sure I esteem, love, fear, serve, delight in and depend upon God more that anything or anyone else.
