Happy 5th Birthday and prayers needed

Today is Sarah's 5th Birthday! I cannot believe that my baby is 5 years old. She is so much fun, full of life and has been such a blessing to us! Unfortunately for her, she is spending her birthday at Children's Hospital. On Thursday night, or maybe I should say early Friday morning, we took her to the ER and she was admitted to Children's with asthma like symptoms, fast breathing, etc.... and fever. After several chest x-rays, she now appears to have pneumonia. Her breathing has slowed significantly but it still isn't where it should be, so she is still on some oxygen. I am not sure how long she will be there, hopefully she will improve a whole lot today, now that they have her on antibiotics, and will be able to get off her oxygen today. The kids and I are supposed to fly to NY tomorrow evening, but as of this morning she doesn't look to Josh or me like she will be ready to be sent home tomorrow, though we haven't talked with the doctor or nurse this morning. Josh slept on a chair bed of some sort and I slept with Sarah in her hospital bed last night and by 5 we really couldn't sleep anymore, with machines beeping, people coming in etc... so I left and came home for a much needed shower and to get her a balloon, wrap her presents etc.... Hopefully she will be feeling better today and maybe she will feel up to a small party in her room. We would appreciate your prayers! Thanks to Dad and Mom for watching Joshua and Abby during this time! Happy Birthday Sarah!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SARAH! so sorry to hear of her being sick on her birthday too and in the hospital! We do hope she will get well soon ~ pneumonia doesn't sound good! I do remember when I was a child Abby my sister coming down with that on one of her birthdays!
