Last night we went to the fall carnival at the kids school. It was a lot of fun, though Josh and I were both very tired by the time we got home. I guess we were there about 2 and a half hours. Josh worked in the Haunted House for an hour of the time. The kids and I went around to a lot of the different activities and they had a great time. I was so excited when we ran out of tickets and could leave, but as we were leaving, another mother, who it appears was ready to leave also, gave the kids almost 30 more tickets. They were obviously very excited, so we ended up staying a little longer using up those tickets. When we ran out, I told Josh we needed to leave fast before someone else decided to give us more tickets.
Sarah was eating some life savers today she got from the carnival and she said, "look, I have some lasers! "
Today, I met Bec and Noah, Angie and Charlie and Mom for lunch at Moes. We had a fun time visiting together and enjoyed seeing the little boys. They are getting so big and are so cute!!This afternoon we took Joshua to soccer practice and then we took the girls to one of the local malls. They have been asking to get their ears pierced, so we told them they could if they wanted to. Sarah decided to watch Abby and then decide but Abby was very certain she wanted hers done. She ended up crying when they did it, but was excited to have earrings! She looks cute! Sarah decided she didn't want them, though on the way out, she was very sad she didn't go ahead and have it done. Josh said he would take her another time if she still wanted it done. I don't think I will go watch when she goes. I hate seeing my little girls hurting, even when it is their choice.
Abby was so excited about her pierced ears that she called Grandmama when we got home and told her about them! She says she can't wait to show them to Grandmama tomorrow at the soccer game.
After Joshua's soccer practice, they had their soccer party. Today was the last practice since tomorrow is the last game of this season. We had pizza, chips and cake and the boys received medals. They were quite thrilled!
